Parish Council

The Parish Council is the primary ministry of our parish, responsible for raising the funds necessary to support the ministries of St. Demetrios under the leadership of the Parish Priest.

The members of the Parish Council are elected by the faithful members of St. Demetrios Parish. Once elected, they are ratified by the Metropolitan and take an oath of affirmation before beginning their service. Each member serves a two-year term.

The St. Demetrios Parish Council consists of eleven members and meets monthly throughout the year.
