Metropolis of Boston
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston is one of the Metropolises of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, serving the faithful throughout New England. The Metropolis, under the spiritual leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios, shepherds parishes in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and parts of Connecticut. Its mission is to guide the faithful toward salvation in Christ, to preserve the traditions of the Orthodox faith, and to support the spiritual and pastoral life of its parishes.
The Metropolis organizes retreats, educational programs, youth ministries, and philanthropic initiatives that reflect the light of Christ in our communities. Through the offices of the Metropolitan, the Metropolis offers pastoral oversight, coordinates clergy and laity efforts, and strengthens parish life across the region. Rooted in the Orthodox tradition, the Metropolis of Boston serves as a beacon of faith and unity for Orthodox Christians in New England.
